OMV starts the first national research on dyslexia

Worldwide, 1 in 10 children suffer from dyslexia. Although it is one of the most common disorders among children everywhere, in Romania there is not enough awareness of the dyslexia issue. From November 2011 to February 2012, OMV is running the first national research on this matter in Romania. The research has the purpose to identify the dyslexia occurrence in the general population and especially among school-children in the first education cycle. Also, this research seeks to offer a detailed analysis on the way in which this issue is broached at school and at home, and to identify the information level of the general public regarding this frequent disorder.
