About dyslexia

Dyslexia is a learning disorder caused by a neurological dysfunction which prevents the development of the reading ability. Confusing letters, slow reading, reverse syllables reading, difficulties in understanding the read text are only some of its forms of manifestation.

Children suffering from dyslexia cannot acquire reading-writing abilities through the usual teaching methods, requiring specific methods and therapies. Though learning disorders CANNOT be cured, without proper treatment, dyslexia can have severe emotional development consequences, leading to personality development disorders and social integration difficulties.
